Memorial Day Flag Raising at Brunk Cemetery:

Troop 97 will meet in the parking lot of Glenwood Intermediate School at 7:30am and drive as a group out to Brunk Cemetery. At which time the troop will conduct a flag raising ceremony. Scouts need to be in their Class A uniforms. A sign up sheet is available on the table.

Memorial Day Flag Ceremony at the Chatham Square:

Troop 97 will meet at the Chatham Square at 9:45am to help set up and attend the flag raising ceremony that begins at 10:00am. Scouts need to be in their Class A uniforms. A sign up sheet is available on the table.

Memorial Day Flag Lowering:

Troop 97 will meet in the parking lot of Glenwood Intermediate School at 5:30pm and drive as a group out to Brunk Cemetery. At which time we will have a flag lowering ceremony. Scouts need to be in their Class A uniforms. A sign up sheet is available on the table.

Troop 97 has scheduled a canoe trip or float trip for this day. Jeff Hutton is working on the details and will soon have an information sheet. A sign up sheet will be available on the table.

This fun event is held each year and has both Troop 97 and Pack 79 enjoying a refreshing swim, cookout and treats. An information sheet and sign up sheet will be on the table.

Steve Upchurch is working on this fun event. We are planning a night out at the Left Handers Club to shoot long rifles and shotguns. As soon as the details are finalized we will share them with the troop.
